Dear Meridian Manor Residents, Team Members, Families and Stakeholders,
Since the COVID-19 outbreak began, we have been actively working with all of you to communicate information as the situation evolved. We have been in touch with team members and families regularly. Many of our residents are living in temporary housing. Most team members have been unable to work. We understand the anxiety and uncertainty this has created for everyone. As a mission-focused nonprofit organization, our number one priority is for the health and safety of our residents and team members.
The negative impact of COVID-19 has significantly impaired our ability to continue our mission and serve seniors at Meridian Manor going forward. Therefore, we have made the very difficult decision to discontinue operations and close the community.
For our beloved residents, with this 30-day notice of closure, be assured that Transforming Age is here to assist you. A dedicated Transition Team member will be in contact with you shortly to help with this process. Our team will be with you every step of the way. They will inform you of all the available choices. They will also provide assistance with moving. We are dedicated to making the move into your new home as smooth as possible.
For our heroic Meridian Manor team members, the Human Resources team will be in touch with you to discuss next steps.
